Couple of reasons...
1) Getting close to the tank, at this point, is very risky. It could GO at any minute,
2) It’s loaded with a monomer has an uncontrolled polymerization reaction on-going. What truck can handle that?
3) It’s 34,000 gallons. You’d need ~ 5 trucks.
Maybe? If they partially loaded trucks with inhibitor, to stop the reaction? But who will volunteer to hook that up?
The valves are gummed up or otherwise jammed. Maybe due to the methyl methacrylate polymerizing.
The chemical can spontaneously react with itself and generate heat.
Worst case it blows up taking out a chunk of west Orange County, although the Chinese investors who have been gobbling up burned out properties in Pacific Palisades and Malibu may think this is a grand opportunity.
