Our police are meant to police without fear or favour, but there is plenty of anecdotal evidence that they don’t – think of how they hold, or too often do not hold, the ring impartially between supporters of Israel and Palestine, Muslim and Christian preachers, supporters and opponents of trans rights, or whatever.
Does all this matter? The Nowak case, with an obvious victim, shows clearly that it does
There is a tendency for the great and the good to say this is no very big deal; the police are doing their best in difficult situations, complainants are normally tiresome culture warriors or enablers of hate speech. Events in Southampton Crown Court over the last two weeks show how wrong they are. Partial policing can potentially be deadly.
A Sikh man, Vickrum Digwa, is standing trial for the murder of a Polish student, Henry Nowak, who died from loss of blood after being allegedly stabbed by him in a run-down student quarter of Southampton. Of Digwa’s guilt or innocence we say nothing, since he denies the charge of murder and the trial continues. But whether or not he is guilty, the account in court of how Nowak died is enormously worrying.
It is admitted that Nowak, already weak from knife wounds, was trying to reach help when the police arrived. The evidence is that, having arrived, the police interviewed both parties; told that Nowak had started a drunken fight and racially abused Digwa, they immediately handcuffed him. Afterwards, they realised his condition. When he collapsed, they removed the cuffs and administered first aid. But it was too late. He died in their hands.

The trial continues.
The claim that he was drunk would fit him stumbling about because he’s losing blood.
Many US states have “depraved indifference” laws. It’s a serious crime.
The British police acted with depraved indifference towards Mr. Nowak. I wonder if that’s a crime in the UK.
But it probably doesn’t matter if it is. The police wouldn’t be charged anyway.
Oliver Cromwell, please pick up the white courtesy telephone. It’s urgent.
“Zhey whvere only fhvollohvingk ORDARHS!!”
He was not drunk. His autopsy revealed he was under the UK's limit to drive, which is .08 percent BAC. The person who claimed he was drunk is the guy who murdered him.
I wonder if that’s a crime in the UK.
Not unless they were praying.
Anybody know how much attention this is getting in the UK?
Compare and contrast. St George Floyd of Fentanyl was martyred while resisting arrest after trying to pass a counterfeit bill at a convenience store . The result was riots across several nations, what amounted to a state funeral with law enforcement and members of Congress obliged to take a knee for him and the arrest and conviction of murder for all of the police involved in the arrest.
Henry Nowak was walking home when he encountered a Sikh wearing a eight-inch long dagger. After a few words the Sikh decides to stab Nowak to death. When police arrive, they promptly arrest Nowak for ‘racism’ and the police let him bleed out. When told he’s been stabbed, someone says, “I don’t think so mate”. Like St. George, Nowak’s final words were, “I can’t breathe”, because his lungs were filling with blood.
There have been no riots over this death. The police involved have not been named and as far as I am aware, no golden casket has been provided for Nowak’s funeral. The judge involved in the case has already reduced the charge to manslaughter to which the Sikh has pled not guilty.

If you are Polish, and still living in The UK, return to Poland, it’s much better there.

Iryna Zarutska murdered by a repeat offender in Charlotte and a mural memorializing her is considered to be too divisive for public display in Rhode Island. The memorial to St George of Fentanyl is still considered holy ground in Minneapolis.
Elites deciding that it would be a good idea to replace native whites with people from third-world shit holes only ended here because of Trump’s election. Had Harris won, it would be continuing apace.
Judge dismisses criminal charges against the ‘Maryland Man’ who somehow cannot be deported despite being in the nation illegally.
The U.K. should be a cautionary tale for the U.S. yet too many voters seem to want to follow their lead.
Britons are disposable for the UK government. And I am going to bet the cops were all Muslims of Middle East descent.
Britons are disposable for the UK government.
“Who are the Britons?”
I know that. I didn’t say that he was drunk, but he would have seemed drunk to somebody just coming on the scene.
Here’s a thought...

I agree. Release the bodycam footage. It’s undoubtedly damning, which is why they won’t release it.
Behind a paywall, but the headline says it all and I needed a cite for the info.
