The Context of the Margin
Political analysts and election data clarify why this gap is highly notable:
Final Election Results:
Challenger Ed Gallrein won 54.9% of the vote compared to Thomas Massie's 45.1%.
Expectations vs. Reality:
In the final days leading up to the election, polling from outlets like Newsweek and the BBC indicated a "dead heat" or a "razor-thin margin". Massie himself publicly estimated a close "50-50 race". The nearly 10-point actual gap shattered those projections.
Historical Performance:
Massie noted that in a typical primary cycle, his independent conservative brand would easily net him roughly 80% of the vote. Dropping down to 45% represents a dramatic shift in support within his district.

Chest pumping Messy Massie
He was so sure he would get “80%” . MS Now fawnning over him
Any politician that has ties to the religion of pieces deserves to lose.
Just rechecked and - yes - Massie is a vocal advocate of term limits sponsoring legislation to limit House members to six years.
It’s pretty clear to me that his constituents just felt his pain in becoming more and more of a hypocrite with each succeeding election, and decided to help him keep his integrity - you know - despite himself.
He said he had to reach his opponent in Tel Aviv to concede.
Classless and arrogant to the end.
The Democratic Party establishment and its political leaders are not interested in Justice. They are interested in the judicial system agreeing with them, no matter what.

Stalin, Joseph - “It’s not the people who vote that count. It’s the people who count the votes.” How were these votes counted?
Where’s the context? They couldn’t bring themselves to admit
TRUMP IS THE BOSS!

DNC shills tried their best. (emphasis added)
Considering KY is a closed primary state, this should send a message that rank-and-file republicans are more MAGA than those inside-the-beltway prefer to believe

So you think Massie lost because of fraud?
He was so sure he would get “80%” . MS Now fawnning over him
Ditto for a few FR TDSers.
He’s a piece of Schiff.
You can’t expect that kind of scum to be classy or humble..
The View have any openings?
It was obvious he we going to lose when he started with the anti semitic stuff. Now he has an excuse to blame Jews for his loss and not because he was a do nothing backbencher (who would side with the Dems against his own party)
That’s just pitiful.
I don’t trust Democrats to count or cast votes honestly.
You’re accusing Republicans - that have sent Massie to the House for over a decade? Well, then I guess Massie was never legitimate, either, right?
Interesting demographics on how this happened

Interesting reading ... shows how a few notable defections on high profile items can come back to bite. Hoping we won’t have to call the lame duck version “Sour grapes” Massie.
I agree. If he handt used Jew baiting he would win.
