Those who ridicule valid concerns about data center’s resource consumption regional impacts are slow.
Takes ‘em a while to catch on.
When they start seeing water shortages for their sports fields, golf courses, watering yards, and parks they will get it.
I will bet the anytime power goes down for storms all the data centers will have power (after their backup generators go down as well) while you freeze or melt.
They drain our natural resources almost as much as they drain our human souls. Kinda interesting how AI/Data Centers kicked in, big time, on the heels of covid...
