It's been a good few weeks to be Carson Hocevar, driver of the No. 77 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports.
Last month, Hocevar won his first career NASCAR Cup Series race when he took the checkered flag in the Jack Link's 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, then dropped a celebration for the ages.
Then just days later, he became the first NASCAR driver to hit the Met Gala since Jeff Gordon went in 2010.

He appeared at the Met Gala as a guest of E!/MS NOW/USA Sports.
What is the Met Gala and does it matter that he went?
One might say that a daisy cutter at the Met Gala would be a boon to civilization

It’s something straight out of The Hunger Games.

We could never have that kind of luck.
Ditto for Coachella.
So... Met Gala... Carson Hocevar is the daughter his mother always wanted...
While helping MS NOW / E! because all but five of the remainder championship races are broadcast on MS NOW’s USA Network or on MGM produced by MS NOW.
Never even heard of the guy before he won Talladega and I’m already tired of him.
Beta-cuck males in Nascar now? Good thing I stopped watching when Earnhardt Sr died.
sThere was a rule in NASCAR with the “Winner’s Circle” bonus money program for the race winners that they had to make numerous promotional appearances for NASCAR and tracks. One notable one was Dale Earnhardt Snr having to sit with police and “pull over” good drivers to reward them with tickets for a Talladega race, there was a recent equivalent where drivers make appearances at public events (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier recently for Ross Chastain, required for Coca-Cola 600 winners).
This was Carson Hocevar doing a “Winner’s Circle” style promotion with NASCAR’s broadcast partner Versant (MS NOW / USA Sports), which starts next week with production of MGM/Washington BLEEP PPV races.
When R. J. Reynolds had the bonus money programs, drivers had to participate in different events to assign the five fans to the drivers where the winner won a million dollars. So I see Carson doing a Winner’s Circle promotional event that he has to do for bonus money.
