Rubio basically says anyone can come from anywhere into the US and achieve (current system gives many incentives to foreignors over US Citizens), or be born of illegals in the US (and remain, abusing the system)

I like Rubio but what is with your inability to hold space to disagree? Why throw a leftist style fit over it? Not everyone who holds different opinions is a paid bot. And even the most ideal candidate will have flaws - personal AND policy wise - it will be aired out. It’s to be expected. So unhealthy to freak out about it.
I don’t know how Rubio would do as VP, but he’s been a solid Secretary. It’s probably been many years since the US had somebody as solid as he has been in the position.
Rubio’s performance as fill-in press secretary propelled him past Vance into first place in polls for the possible Republican nominee for President in 2028.

I don’t know if this will last. But, we want someone who has the energy of Donald Trump, can appeal to the people Trump appeals to, and can appeal to others not already in the Republican coalition. It may be an impossible task, esp. the energy part.
Bongino lost a lot of creds with me with his stint at DOJ, Epstein Files et el.
If I were an American, I’d want Rubio to be majority leader in the Senate.

Nothing in that clip was approving of illegals. To me, it simply meant that a person in America has the freedom to work hard and succeed, whether he was born here or came from another country. I doubt Rubio meant illegally.
The upcoming presidential election is likely going to be contentious for Republicans and conservatives. Both Rubio and DeSantis have run before and will probably run again. Vance, as the VP, is expected to run. I think it’s possible that Huckabee-Sanders might run. Gabbard is another potential candidate. I’m sure the list will be long. I know one thing for certain. Our list will have much better people to choose from than the Democrats’ list.
