Two bodies were discovered inside a burning underground utility vault beneath a Fresno overpass Monday morning after firefighters navigated a hazardous confined space packed with live electrics.
The deadly blaze sparked a massive technical rescue response after smoke was seen rising from the bunker, which investigators say had been converted into a makeshift homeless encampment that may have existed for months.

Wizzed on a live wire?
Never NEVER!!! Pee on electric fence/anything. If you do, the medical team at emergency will probably remark about the straight pubic hair on the corpse. On the other hand, the autopsy may make a medical journal centerfold.
“Not only did you have a fire, but you also had live electrical down there in a confined space.”
That is three different deadly hazards. Four if you include the smoke as a hazardous atmosphere. (I would)
Gung ho rescuers, maybe. I’ve seen a few.
I’ve also seen CS commanders.
I don’t have the details on this one.
Your point is correct, though.
Good on you for putting an edit in the headline of your post to help your fellow Freepers decide whether they could be bothered to care without opeing the post!!!
You should start you own series on how to be a better Freeper and in the process stop perpetuating click-bait the Internet is flooded with (which so many of our fellows do).
yeah, it was one of those headlines that made it seem like some sort of survivalist bunker.
Nobody goes to Fresno anymore...
I was in college there late 80s early 90s. The only violence I recall was when the northern Mexican gangs and southern Mexican gangs would battle it out. I wasn’t much of a fan until I lived in Wichita Falls Texas. That made Fresno seem like a paradise.
