Yes, a good long run, but his last 20 years or so were spent in a state of dementia.

Lynne Russell on Headline News and the sports duo of Fred Hickman and Nick Charles were watchable, not much else was informative on those channels.

He may have been stupid enough to marry Jane Fonda.

I would like to think he was smart enough to ditch the witch and it was not a case of her dumping him when he was no longer a useful tool for her agenda.

Jane Fonda wrote regretfully that as she was leaving,
Turner already had another woman ready to take her place.

The curtain was pulled back on CNN when they admitted to censoring the news on Saddam Hussein and Iraq in order to maintain a bureau in Baghdad.

CNN was a lot better when he was running it. And I had some of the best steaks and bison steaks in my life at his restaurants.

Yes, I always liked Lynne Russell (not to be confused with Mae Brussell). Her bio on Wikipedia is pretty interesting.

On September 19, 2006, in a Reuters Newsmaker conference, Turner said of Iran’s nuclear position: “They’re a sovereign state. We have 28,000. Why can’t they have 10? We don’t say anything about Israel‍—‌they’ve got 100 of them approximately‍—‌or India or Pakistan or Russia.”

I did not know that. Dementia is the one end of life condition I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I would rather die younger than go out that way.

He was an “elite” that helped fund liberalism. He owned CNN, which started as a trustworthy news source but was intended all along to be the liberal propaganda outlet it is now known.

I hope he is rotting in Hell.

Agreed, but as it turns out, creating the 24 hour news cycle wasn’t one of ‘em.

Eventually, they "created" news on CNN because it was difficult to just report on the news 24/7.

CNN's live coverage of the Gulf War put them well ahead of the broadcast networks. That importance would soon fade once the 1992 Clinton presidential campaign became embedded with CNN.

Yeah. Evil man and lived his life that way. Gave a billion dollars to that anti-Christ organization known as the United Nations and who knows how much money he provided the Moloch worshipers to murder babies. Maybe not as much as the ‘oracle of Omaha’ who wont be long following after him.

I hope Ted Turner somehow had the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus and repent and become saved before his health deteriorated too far. Or was given a moment of clarity to consider it before his end.

I may or may not have some of his bison on my ranch.

Not sure where they came from, but I’m on the third or so generation.

Never seen the bull (to my knowledge).

They hang out with my cows and think they are cows.
