Gun Control Advocates Can’t Define “Assault Weapon”
Gun control advocates’ definition of “assault weapon” varies depending on the source because they cannot collectively agree on how to define it.
Remember the 10 year ban under Bill Clinton! An ASSAULT RIFLE was declared by names, a pistol grip and if it had two of the following.
Flash suppressor,
Bayonet lug,
over 10 round magazine
folding or collapsible stock.
So when the law went into effect, the manufacturers changed the names to “Target Rifle” removed the offending items and those same bowdlerized rifles were for sale all through the ban.
