Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville and his co-host spoke on Thursday about the dangers of Democrats falling for the same far-left rhetoric that weighed them down in past elections.
Throughout the 2024 election and long afterward, Carville has continually told his fellow liberals and Democrats to steer clear of divisive identity politics and radical social agendas, warning that they alienate voters and simply aren’t viable policy.
He and his co-host, Al Hunt, highlighted Texas congressional candidate Bobby Pulido for his rhetoric across the board during their podcast.
Pulido has been widely quoted for offering an explanation to fellow Democrats as to why aspirational Latino voters have shifted rightward, saying, “People down here don’t consider themselves poor — they consider themselves broke. When you’re broke, you say, ‘Tomorrow I’m going to make it.’ Democrats treated people like they’re poor, not like they’re broke.”
Carville said that he loved this insight, but Hunt praised Pulido’s answer on whether ICE should be abolished.
“He basically said, ‘No, we should reform ICE,’” Hunt said.
“I think that question abolishing ICE is to ‘Defund the police’ of 2026. And Democrats that come into that are giving Republicans an opening. And boy, he didn’t. He really answered that well.”

Snake head is the personification of an addled, acid tongued demononiac ... he needs to harken back to his marine corps days and reconstitute those oaths, and pledges based on his consent and signature that we live under a constitutional republic (which he swore to defend) and not a country ruled by the masses. In that he fails to recognize that fact deomstrates ‘ol snakeheads true Marxist leanings.
But then the fact is clearly evident that he receives pay for the things he says, and it’s a gravy train that snakehead is really not interested in slowing down. thereby he continues his verbal insolence based upon personal hypocrisy. Chesty would spit in Carville’s eye.

Carville is so loathesome, especially his statements on Trump. The good news is that he is a dinosaur in the Demoract Party and the new generation hates him as much as he hates Trump. So he can scream all he wants about how much “Abolish ICE” is damaging the Dems. The new generation is just going to give him the finger and tell the old man to go away.
Who can take this sumbitch seriously? I watched his podcast where he screamed, with spittle flying, “Yes I have TDS and I pray to God that he would give me a double dose of it. I hate that son of a bitch and want to hate him more.” How is “abolish ICE” any more political poison than that?
Abigail Spanberger successfully rope-a-doped Virginia’s gullible “independents” into electing her on the back of reasonable-sounding rhetoric and empty commitments. Once in office, she reverted to a radical agenda.
With this success, Spanbergering became the Dems’ new model. Republicans need to educate voters on how this bait-and-switch turns out.
People thought since she was CIA, she must be a “patriot”.
At CIA she was just another self-aggrandizing Karen. Plenty of those hired into USG and major corporations during the 1990s.Thirty years later they’re decisionmakers in those organizations.

Carville and much of his ilk freak out about Leftist policies like “defund the police,” “abolish ICE,” “cashless bail,”transgender women (men) in women’s prisons or bathrooms, gun control, etc...b/c they’re all crappy ideas that most people don’t support.
But they push the policies, quietly knowing full well that it will make society worse, while publicly claiming that they are the only ones who can make society better through these crappy policies they are pushing as life-savers for everyone.
