Then it’s all about finding that eye.

My thermos tends to pop, upon opening, if I take off the cap when there are hot liquids in it. I always open the spout first that you drink out of to release the pressure before I take off the cap.

I assume that is what the problem is, people are not opening the spouts first.

We got the notice from Amazon last night

Wondered what this is about.

It’s a great thermos. Reluctant to return it. I use it all the time.

Well, a thermos full of that Johnston County double-charred will set just about anybody free.

If it works for you, I’d disregard the notice. I’d only return for a free redesigned thermos.

If they redesigned the cap with a pop valve to release the pressure before opening, that would probably fix the problem.

They said it’s a danger to people who “leave food in too long”.

So people who forget about their food and let it ferment is what I am thinking.

Thats not me. I like my lunch on the rig.

Maybe if they would wear EYE PROTECTION when opening pressurized containers (as required by OSHA, if it’s work related), they’d still have functional eyes.
