WATCH: American Hockey Fans Deliver Full-Throated Rendition of Canadian National AnthemWATCH: American Hockey Fans Deliver Full-Throated Rendition of Canadian National Anthem (BARF ALERT)

When the national anthem singer at Tuesday’s Buffalo Sabres game had microphone issues, the crowd helped her out by singing along.

The moment came as the Sabres hosted the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night at the KeyBank Center. Prior to puck drop, singer Cami Clune was chosen to do the honors of singing “O Canada.”

As noted in a report from The New York Times, Sabres home games include both the Canadian and American national anthems, due to the city being so close to the border. At other U.S. venues, the Canadian anthem is only included when a Canadian team is the visitor.

Just seconds into her performance, however, Clune’s mic started to malfunction. During the brief moment of silence from the PA system, the crowd quickly jumped in and began singing the anthem. Clune’s audio briefly returned before cutting out once again. This time, she was undeterred and continued singing with the rest of the crowd. Throughout the rest of the performance, the mic issues persisted. Fortunately for Clune, the Buffalo fans — who have surely heard the Canadian anthem countless times — sang it all the way through.

Sorry, it strikes me as good sportsmanship. Especially if it’s reciprocated for games held in Canada.

Same thing, roles reversed a couple years ago

Puke!
A full throated belting out of the Canadian anthem could have been a respectful observing of Canadians singing their anthem.
The globalist brainwashing is near complete me thinks.

Not sure why it’s revolting. Most of the fans there come from Canada. It’s not like they are NOT singing the US anthem.

It’s not like they are asking anyone to change citizenship.

It was a nice thing to do.

I’ve heard that a lot of the people who attend Buffalo Bills home games are from Canada.

More people in Toronto are Bills fans than CFL fans.

It is good sportsmanship. Canadian fans have sung the US national anthem in the past. Hockey is the only sport that matters.

I’d be impressed if they sang the French version, the lyrics are better than the English version.

I think the Buffalo Sabres are the only organization to play both anthems even when both teams playing are U.S. teams.

We’ve been singing it at Red Wings games forever.
They sing ours. We sing there’s.
That is when a Canadian team is visiting.
It’s a Canadian game.🇨🇦
Remember it was sung in French at an Anaheim v Montreal Game in Anaheim.

Quick question...
Why did the Buffalo Sabres feel the need to sing the Canadian national anthem before their game with the BOSTON BRUINS?????
WTF?
F Air Canada by the way.

I remember in the 1970s that both anthems were routinely performed at games between the Boston Bruins and L.A. Kings, due not only to the number of Canadian players on both teams (Marcel Dionne, Rogie Vachon), but also because the Boston anthem singer was Canadian, and liked to sing both.

You do realize that probably 1/3 if not half of the players in the NHL were born in Canada?
The Buffalo Sabres games have always played the Canadian National Anthem even if they are not playing a Canadian team that game.
I grew up just south of Buffalo.
It is on the border of Canada.
Many people travel back and forth across the border daily.
Across the PEACE Bridge between Buffalo and Fort Erie, Ontario.
Get a life hoser.
