A white conservative content creator who goes by the name Sasha sparked widespread outrage online after she posted a TikTok claiming that “hood prom” — a term used to describe elaborate, over-the-top prom looks celebrated by Black teens — exists solely because Black girls have little chance of ever getting married.
More show notes from the transcripts:
"...Lies is hood prom and baby mama culture are like this. The reason why the dresses are so extravagant in the cars, in the show, in the presentation, is because this is the closest these girls will ever get to being a bride in the black community. I'm sorry to say it..."

Back in 1983, when I worked with a mostly Black crew of fabric and plastic recyclers, I learned that "Mother's Day" comes once a month, when money floods into "the hood."
Looks like practice for some of the awards shows.
How many on the various welfare programs and still pay for this bling?
I hadn't previously, but I have now. I thought the strutting peacock 'do was the limit ...
There are no limits.
Heavy flak means you are right on target.
Throw a rock into a pack of dogs. The one that yelps the loudest is the one that got hit.
Hefty load of 1 dollar bills dare. Probably 200 of dems or maybe 250 dough
You can’t blame idiot and hillbilly politicians for everything- Go over and look at black culture in Africa- they never heard of Lyndon Johnson and they still live in mud huts
Chastity and commitment are not high on the list in black culture these days. It may not be talked about much but it’s plain to see by the results. And yes, it’s spilled over into the white culture too.
Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?
It’s discrimination for cause. They’re illiterate AND entitled. Why would you disrupt your work crew by hiring one that is entitled enough to get away with making the whites and messicans do your work for you ?
It sure is as far as the recipients are concerned.
The left has really done a number on black culture. One of my favorite playlists is 60s girl groups. Songs like Chapel of Love, Be my baby, Then he kissed me, Mama said there’d be days like this, Leader of the pack, Will you love me tomorrow, Tell him that you love him, Soldier boy are lovely sweet songs. They remind us that blacks once shared the values of traditional society. Black women have been brutally victimized by the dehumanizing hip hop culture. It’s such a shame.
Now? Yes I agree, I've seen enough of it personally. But the critical difference is those who do work: their attitudes are lot closer to yours and mine, but the "hate whitey" and racial suspicion still carry a lot of weight. De Tocqueville warned about that: he said there were not one but two impediments to racial reconciliation in the US: i) white prejudice; ii) the black desire for revenge for their mistreatment. As he saw it, both would persist for generations.
Hundreds of dollars are spent for clothes only to be worn once.
Clothes only to end up on the floor.🤣
Walmart was like that at 1201 am when the federal and state bennies dropped and the bennies cards were reloaded..

did she say something wrong?
Good description but they are not irredeemable.
My Lord Jesus redeemed me. He can redeem anyone He chooses.
Their current state or condition is irrelevant.
This is the gospel.
If you read Dr. Sowell, the black family was comparable in marriage, economics etc. until Johnson’s Great Society.
These are some admirable folks. Walter Williams, Clarence Thomas..... I could go on.
My wife from time to time will say when she is ready to go somewhere “off like a prom dress” :)
