Democrats, anticipating winning back control of the House of Representatives following the midterm elections, are already plotting how best to serve the American people.
Just kidding. They're already hashing out a plan to engage in their favorite pastime — impeaching President Trump.
House Democrats are reportedly pushing to build a case for impeachment. And building that case includes launching “shadow hearings” in preparation for the big day.
Man, the resistance party has certainly turned into a single-issue party. Imagine how intellectually challenged and totally void of morals you have to be to make that single issue 'get Trump.' They have absolutely nothing to offer the American people.
According to Axios, a "cohort of resistance-minded House Democrats" has banded together to urge their party leaders to start prepping for impeachment proceedings on day one. Superheroes, no doubt, to the blue-haired, pink hat-wearing set.
Kind of like the Avengers, if the Avengers didn't realize they were the bad guys. And their superpowers were being cringe. And if the super soldier serum was actually estrogen. But, I digress.
Democrat Rep. Delia Ramirez (IL-3) gave the game away a little bit in her conversations with the outlet.
"This is something that I keep saying to our leadership ... we need to have a very concrete, coordinated strategy," she said.
Ramirez added that her colleagues need to "build up the case so that when we are in power in January, we've created the conditions ... we've done the fact-checking, we've done the shadow hearings, everything we need to be able to impeach [Trump]."
Got that? She wants her party to spend the next nine months—not trying to better the lives of her constituents, to lower costs for Americans, to cut taxes, to keep the border secure and reduce crime—but rather, prepping an impeachment effort that will serve more as theater than as an accomplishment. There is a zero percent chance they'll get a two-thirds majority in the Senate, even on the off chance that they gain a small advantage in that chamber as well.
Democrat Rep. Yassamin Ansari (AZ-3) concurred, telling Axios that "the push for impeachment is going to be overwhelming" if the Republicans lose the House.
Rep. Shri Thanedar (MI-13) and that gopher living on his head echoed Ramirez, saying, "We have a case — a very strong case — so we should really work on it now."....SNIP

“I can’t see how Democrats benefit from doing this.”
What policy might an ascendant Democratic party try for? Anything they want to do will only appeal to a small fraction of their base. Let’s suppose they want to enhance the legality of trans people. Lesbians HATE men who are pretending to be women. Many of the rest of the alphabet people really don’t like or associate with trans people. From what I’ve heard and read half the alphabet people think the other half are crazy. Though if they say so, they’ll look around to make certain there are none around as trans people are dangerous.
There is no moderate middle that they can all agree to. So, what’s the answer? Everybody on their side LOVES to HATE Trump. The communist dictum find something, isolate it and polarize it is the only thing that all Democrats can agree on. It’s the only safe thing they can do. Keep everyone focused on Trump and nobody will notice anything else they do. Like, redistricting, funneling money to causes some of which finds its way to them...you know, politics as usual.
This is their whole agenda impeach Trump. 🙄

They love wasting our $ on their power schemes...they don’t give a damn about the country or anyone in it who doesn’t agree with them and fund them.
And then we’ve got the leader of the Senate who won’t lift a finger to help us and no Senator apparently is willing to find 4 more senators to take Thune out.
Our government is broken...a kleptocracy free for all.
Trump will be almost out of office before they could impeach him. Will the Democrats offer any plans how they will improve the country when they go to the voters or will their platform be simply get Trump?

And let the media know it. There is no flipping way we don’t avoid civil war because the hate is so rooted in biblical opposition.
So.....campfires. Unplug from social media and start forming.
Go for it...it only helps Trump.
They really do want CW-II and are thus far very well on the way to it.
All three of these clowns named in the article have solid socialist backgrounds. Maybe they want to pass laws to allow their relatives to walk across our borders.
At least the Democrats HAVE a plan.
While the Thune/McConnell Republicans only plan is to run out the clock on President Trump.
By now, they've figured out that we can't even be bothered to show up to vote in off year elections, much less fight CWII.
Impeachment is just a fundraising tool and farcical because it memorializes Trump in the history books

Republicans are playing by rules the Democrats establish for them while Democrats are playing by no rules at all.
