Riddle of the day: When is deed theft not actually deed theft?
Answer: When state Attorney General Tish James tries to have it both ways.
That’s what happened Friday when the AG was asked about fellow lefty Brooklyn Councilman Chi Ossé’s arrest.
Ossé was cuffed Wednesday as he tried to prevent an eviction he claimed stemmed from “deed theft.”
At the time, James’ office issued a statement denying the case involved any such thing.
It said the matter involved a property dispute between heirs and relatives of the home’s former co-owners.
Yet on Friday, James sang a different tune.
“Technically it wasn’t a deed theft,” but it “emanated from deed theft,” she clarified — for anyone who speaks double-talk.
Ossé claims he suffered a concussion during his arrest, but it was James who sounded more like the one with the concussion.
Why the backtrack? The AG had shown up for Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s presser announcing his new office on deed-theft prevention, and she had to race to get with the program.
Suddenly, you see, lefties have a new cause: deed theft (i.e., when someone steals the title to a house through fraud).

AG Letitia James contradicts own office over alleged ‘deed theft’ that led to NYC councilman’s protest arrest
Theft is theft.
(Except when democrats do it)
Such is the world we live in.
But God.......
FWIW, God has a lot to say about theft of property in the OT.
Her friends call her Tish while Kash is calling her out.
From what I gather from the article, a home of an old man who is a ward of the State of Georgia was sold for $1.4 million to 227 Group LLC.
The now evicted daughter was living in the home.
The conservator allegedly didn’t file documents with the court showing where the $1.4 million is.
AG James didn’t get the matter resolved. She might not have the power to as it apparently is a State of Georgia legal matter.
In these type matters, I think Georgia Medicaid would kick in to take care of the father and it would be exempt from Medicaid attachment while a natural dependent of the father was living there.
NOTE: I’m not a lawyer and that may not be correct for some reason.
Didn't Mamdani run on NYC government stealing every deed in the city? (rent control)
When are they going to put this above the law biatch in jail?
When a government official’s law conflicts with God’s law there is a basic problem that needs to be ironed out before any real progress is. “You can’t have your & eat it too” as the old saying goes...but watch some politician try to.
