How do we know that is actually him? I’m not defending the guy, but I want to know whether it is actually true before passing it on to people I know. The only thing that’s there is a photo that includes some priest, and I can’t even see anything in the photo confirming that it is a Communist march. Nor is there any link in the twitter post that indicates a source for identifying the priest shown in that photo.
That was a known communist movement funded and fed by the Russians.
That was a white hot anti-America/anti-West/anti-Reagan movement of incredible levels and led by Russia, and Putin was involved in that Soviet led agitation, and Americans were dying from the terrorism coming out of it, we literally had to walk around the terror bombing damage at places like the Frankfurt airport, terrorism attacks were taking place against army bases and against government individuals and individual American GIs.
To be fair, I was a teenager in the 1980’s. It was hard to do stupid political stuff with Reagan as prez.
