Trump Responds After Iran Blocks Strait Of Hormuz: ‘No More Mr. Nice Guy’

President Donald Trump once again threatened to strike core Iranian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, in a lengthy Truth Social post on Sunday morning. The post comes after the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) reneged on a previous agreement to open the Strait of Hormuz and fired on multiple civilian vessels over the weekend.

“Iran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz — A Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it?” the president wrote.

Trump once again stated that the U.S. has no interest in the Strait of Hormuz, through which roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil exports traveled through prior to the outbreak of the conflict. “In fact, many Ships are headed, right now, to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, to load up, compliments of the IRGC, always wanting to be ‘the tough guy!'” he continued.

The president then vowed to resume the conflict if a deal is not reached in the near future. “We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran,” Trump continued.

“NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years. IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!”

Trump also stated Sunday that the two sides will once again be meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan for another round of talks on a peace deal. In a statement to the New York Post, Trump stated that Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, will be traveling to Pakistan on Monday.

Vice President Vance, who traveled to Pakistan alongside Kushner and Witkoff last weekend, will not be in attendance for the upcoming talks.

The latest developments come after Iran fired on multiple civilian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz after previously stating that the vital waterway would be open just a day earlier. Regime officials stated that the IRGC was in “full control” of the strait and added that it will remain close so long as a wider U.S. blockade is in effect.

In response, Trump convened a meeting in the White House situation room on Saturday and suggested that further military action is on the table once the current ceasefire expires.

The only solution is to wipe out the current regime and install one of our choosing (the Shah's son?)

“a growing backlog of aging tonnage that is expected to head for the breaking yards in the coming years. Included in the backlog are hundreds of tankers operating in the so-called dark fleet”

https://shipbreakingplatform.org/platform-publishes-list-2025/

There are hundreds of tankers of little value available for Strait transit use. These tankers might proceed to India, which is a short trip away. The oil can be shipped on from India as Russian oil has been.

Or totally bankrupt Iran’s evil ‘elites’ until (with their power gone ) the people ‘take care’ of them... forever.

Maybe unleash and back up the Persian people while they kick out the Islamists and hand down justice to the MFers who have terrorized the world for the last 47 years. Just a thought.

More ultimatums.
Dealing with Iran is made more difficult in that it does not appear there is one single source of authority, no one faction making the decisions.

He’s not dealing with a centralized command, he’s dealing with Islamic monkeys! Finish them and take control!

Trump keeps announcing success only to have the mullahs pull the rug out from under him. He’d do better to get tough, say less, and have the results speak for themselves.

At this point, I imagine there isn't a unified regime in Iran, and their government is quite fractured. None of them like the United States, but its probably split, and runs the spectrum between rational people who want to rejoin the world community and work with the USA, to Islamic/orthodox radicals and holdouts, probably in the IRGC, on the other end. These people may be doing everything they can to destroy any agreement.

Agree...but I would guess that the IRGC, and the mullahs have a “deadmans switch” such that if they know that they are going to be captured and killed, there are automatic destructive measures which will be unleashed...like mass killing of civilians, destruction of water distribution, enriched uranium release into the public, or even a hidden group of mercenaries rushing in to seize the control of the deposed government...etc. ...lots of layers to the Shia controlled killing machine. Gotta’ be aware of those possibilities and put in countermeasures.
