I agree that they are monsters but as horrid as their actions are, I wouldn’t have supported the current military action if they were confined to that (other measures, yes).
But acquisition of nuclear weapons? Definitely.

Trump said we had “obliterated” the nuclear laboratories and equipment just a few months ago (July).
None of the former spokesholes you posted were in politics since Trump did that.
I don’t know how you arrived at that bizarre assumption, but that aside - they’ve been massively supporting Muslim terrorism for decades, and that didn’t prompt Trump to conduct major military action against them during his first four years in office. Does that mean he was “okay with it”?

Besides, the Iranians themselves have unequivocally stated that they were enriching Uranium for nuclear weaponry and had no intention of stopping or giving it up.
