Blueberries are seasonal. Yes, you can get off-season blueberries from South America, but wild blueberries from Maine are the best. Since the Table Talk pie people buy a big chunk of those blueberries, the next best source is Michigan. The ones in Illinois are so-so, the ones in Georgia, not very good. California is okay.
Blueberries. Yum.
