Accused sexual abuser Eric Swalwell spent a whopping $500K of donor cash inside luxury hotels — including the rooms where he allegedly raped two women — according to campaign financial records reviewed by The California Post.
The disgraced politician racked up close to $36,500 in hotel expenses over the last 12 months — billing 70 different charges in the US and Mexico, according to the records.
Swalwell’s hotels of choice included the Intercontinental Mexico City, where he spent $4,300 meeting with deported resident Miguel Hildago; Hotel ZIggy in West Hollywood, the Roosevelt Hollywood, the exclusive Ned Nomad in New York City, and the 1 Hotel in Brooklyn.
The nearly $500,000 in expenses were all charged during Swalwell’s time in Congress, his term started in 2013.
The California Post can also reveal Swalwell’s alleged troubling activities are now under investigation by the US Department of Justice.
The Democratic ex-congressman charged his congressional campaign for a hotel room at the Montrose West Hollywood on July 18, 2018, which aligns with the date and location of an alleged rape incident reported Tuesday to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department by Lonna Drewes.

Was Sen Gallego there at the same time? Check his receipts ;-)
That makes the donors alleged honorary rapists or accessories to the rapes, right?
To be fair if he spent most of the year in hotels that’s $100/night and I’m sure his campaign includes hotel rooms for support staff and security detail.
Sucks to be his donors though…
What did Gallego know and when did he know it???
The ION Network reruns of Law and Order SVU Season 23, Ep.1 and 2 “And The Empire Strikes Back” and “Never Turn Your Back On Them” (first run in 2024) is about “a sitting Congressman” who is accused of sexual assault and then revealed to be a serial abuser especially of young aides and underage would be interns whom he drugs and rapes while maintaining a coverup by people afraid of his power and the fact he wants to run for President someday.
Where did they come up with those plots?
I figured the same thing. The party was outspoken that “someone” or someones needed to drop out; makes sense that they would make him an offer that they THOUGHT he wouldn’t refuse. He proved them wrong, much to my delight.
That reminds me of the so called Death Angel visits in the past to GOP Congressmen and Senators who suddenly announced they were retiring to spend more time with their families after being smiling and active with plans the day before.
Hunter Biden used to go to cheap motels including Motel Six. One had his car found by police officers in the parking lot with illegal narcotics and a loaded pistol on the seat while he was sleeping off alcohol and drugs lying on a bed with a paid prostitute.
Cheap motels were much more budget conscious.
They must be shocked, shocked
Almost seems crazy they would fire someone so good at being a Democrat.
The donors paid the booty for Swalwell’s booty calls.
Probably some rap song lyric must cover that.
So is he actually gonna be prosecuted and thrown in jail for 20 years for rape? Or does Congress just think that him resigning from Congress is punishment enough?
“Troubling” activities? The guy is a horndog that makes Billy Jeff Clinton look like a Boy Scout in comparison.
A boar hog in a state of perpetual rut is more like it.
ha!i hope donors big and small gulp hard realizing how badly they were taken for a ride. the party turned a blind eye and let this guy be their standard-bearer- for a dependable votefrom this profligate, spouter of non-stop TDS. subject to
blackmail and he was on the Intel Comm. no telling what we will learn.
I can't imagine my genitals running the show, but apparently for some people it does.
Gotta keep up with the BLM.
more than that- he drugged his victims - and choked them. that is violent behavior.
