There are armed local groups doing drive by shootings of the local Regime.
A civil war is a bloody mess. A total economic collapse is a true disaster.
The Regime Officials are all dead. Down 2 or 3 level by targeting of the regime.
Yes, the End is inevitable.
But the EU and many other nations have painted themselves into a corner. Really tough way out. Or no way out.

He gave them too many chances, IMO. He’s been too patient. Probably so he can’t be accused later of surprise attacks, etc. (He will accused anyhow, due to TDS.)
