A really good “astronaut’s eye view “ of earth reentry. It’s pretty wild, as you would imagine.

I like the part where they deploy the three peppermint candies.
I was wondering why the parachutes are always that color. Guess it’s easy to spot. It would be cooler if they were a little more artsy.
Best would be if the ship landed on its own like SpaceX and not like they have since the 1960’s.
On that note, I wish ships could go in a straight line path to the destination instead of slingshotting — and I don’t appreciate that the ships still break up into pieces in different stages. I wish you just had one ship and it took off and it didn’t need a countdown because when I get in my car, I don’t give a countdown. I just start rolling.
I know— fuel saving, time-saving but you know what? it’s 2026. Let’s use some fuel, take more time or god-forbid go faster and try and inspire people.
Innovate.
Observations by astronaut eyes-only means they each have something that no one else in the world has and they’ll never be able to ‘unsee’ it. That may be good for the science, but I hope they don’t get hounded by the press too much.
Nice! One astronaut from the 1960s had said that it was like being inside a fluorescent bulb.
Space travel is simply a Disneyland ride on steroids. We are $40T in debt and spend billions on a “cool ride.”
Somewhat sad that 50 years after Apollo, what we see looks substantially unchanged.
Returning on its own, and not like they have since the 1960s.
As for the rest ... SpaceX is hiring. I'm sure they could use your ideas.
You'll have to study physics for a few years, first ...
I know, right??! Except now it’s like a robotaxi
Its a good thing they remembered to roll the window up.
Yeah, I’m kind of partial to the Imperial Cruisers. Or even a Millennium Falcon.
The astronauts that left in the space capsule not the same that returned to earth.....................
Waiting for the MSM Enquirer reporters to kick in something will change?
Might want to bone up on celestial mechanics...
Wishes and dreams are what lead to fantastic new developments and inventions. :-)
Nope. I just want to travel in style
Google “rocket equation” for why they just don’t have more fuel.
see, I knew someone would say that, which is why I mentioned in my original post that I knew someone was going to mention fuel or distance or whatever. I know. I know. There was a time when we used to burn coal. There was a time we had wooden ships. And there was a time in the 60s when our ships would break up into several pieces they give a countdown and then we’d have to slingshot around the moon to get to wherever we were going.
I want to advance to the point where we keep moving forward and we can do things better and better and better. It just seems like all the inner weight of people that did this stuff aren’t here anymore. I’d like to see us start to bend space. maybe nuclear rockets like they used the back in the topaz program. Just something better than what we had in the 1960s, which is exactly what we watched yesterday splashdown and the exact same way things have been splashing down since the 1960s. Do you get it? I want to get out of the 60s and I want to get into the next century.
yes, I know which is why I mentioned in my first post that someone would do exactly what you did. This is what I’m talking about. I’m talking about advancing our technology. I don’t wanna see the same crap for 100 years.
I know none of the stuff exist yet, and the reason none of it exist yet is because people are very dull today. Innovation is just going down the toilet but anyway watch this quick video and yes before you comment I know that these things don’t exist, but I wish they did and you know what? They should

I wonder if they subconsciously begin to fell like their seat is getting warm and wonder?
