If Swalwell were to be on of the two candidates to advance from the California jungle primary election, and the other candidate is a Republican, California might, probably not, but might, elect a Republican, were these allegations to come out before the General Election.
He should have stuck to elections the Republicans have zero chance of winning. None of the allegations would ever have seen the light of day.

True but this is how democrats roll. They usually reserve these tactics for Republicans but in this case they are desperately trying to remove excess candidates otherwise we may end up with 2 Republicans running for Governor.
