“Symptoms of TBI can be subtle at first but often linger for years, or even a lifetime, ranging from persistent headaches, fatigue, dizziness and vertigo, to more severe cognitive effects like memory loss, impaired decision-making and difficulty concentrating.”

I’m dealing with this now.
It gets worse as you age and get sick. Until recently it was pure denial from medical etc. People denied that TBIs worsen with age.
I feel for them because it sucks. When I was young I was cute and funny and could laugh my way out of the deficits.
I was 26. That was 1974. I went on disability at 60 years of age.

Next door neighbor had it from an IED in Iraq. She died very suddenly a few months ago.
