Democrats find themselves with a deplorable dilemma – whether to reach into their no-talent “bench” for a 2028 standard bearer or turn to the 78–year-old party matriarch for yet another comeback bid.
Saddled with an aging constituency of white, privileged, female boomers who fill up “No Kings” rallies, Democrats are in such disarray that some are looking to Hillary Clinton to come to the rescue.
The former Secretary of State is coming to New Hampshire next month to headline a major fundraising dinner – fueling speculation about her White House intentions and generational complaints from progressives who view her as an out of touch retread.
Clinton insists she isn’t running but her appearance in the Granite State on April 25 — her first in the state in seven years – has triggered grumbling that she doesn’t meet the party’s liberal litmus test for candidates any more.
But Clinton sounded recently like an unconfident Little League coach looking at a bench full of weak 12-year-olds as she assessed the current Democratic presidential field.
“We have a kind of big messy contest. And so people are going to run,” she told a German TV show at a conference in Munich. “There’s probably going to be 10 to 15 people running. But we have a good bench, we have some good candidates.”
Really? The pompous, overrated Gavin Newsom? The unelectable Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? The even worse Kamala Harris?
Former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is now testing the waters. If he is the nominee, the Democrats are doomed.
That’s what they face as they look to topple President Donald Trump’s successor, which looks now like either Vice President JD Vance or Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Stephen A Smith, ESPN personality is currently the leading contender. It is curious how hard the politicians go to try to ignore him. It is curious how hard the politicians go to insist that to even be considered it must be a career politician.
I love the irony that the Democrats, the party of diversity, knows the only real chance to win the presidency is with a white male such as Gavin Newsom or even the white female dinosaur Hillaryasaurus.
They know they have no chance with AOC, Harris or any other male or female of color because none of them have real appeal with their white voters.

Watch for more push by the Clintons for Shapiro or Beshear.
I expect they will push Beshear so the base can continue to attack Israel.

As long as the media is lockstep in their support of the Dems, the Dems are in good shape. The Dem base would vote for Hitler if he was on the ballot as a D. I view independents as nothing but shy Dems, so if the media does their “job”, it’s not that difficult for Dems to win.

And USC cancelled the Governor debate in CA because only four WHITE MALES made the cut. And that was according to some pre-approved rules created by some esteemed professor at USC!
If they’re going to have a white male and remain true to Ratism. The Rat party best choices are Roy Cooper and Josh Shapiro. However since Ratland is heavily anti-Semitic now their only choice is Cooper. Shapiro does show great “flexibility!” Can he be a antisemitic Semite? Probably!

You are correct; excellent observations.
However, Hillary believes she was cheated out of the nomination in 2008 and the election in 2016. So she still dreams of hearing “Hail to the Chief” when she walks into a room.
As an aside, I believe she was cheated out of the nomination in 2008. The MSM knew all about John Edwards-his affair(s) with his wife hospitalized with cancer during the campaigns. All that was withheld from the public until Obama locked up the nomination. If all the dirt on Edwards came out early, he would have dropped out of the race. As long as he stayed in, he split the anti-Obama vote.
So yes Hillary Run! Don’t let them cheat you out of your rightful place as President of the United States.
LOL. I'd be so happy if Hillary Clinton ran for president again. Arrogant, entitled, nasty - but monumentally politically tone-deaf. She would have a massive staff that would make jaw-droppingly stupid decisions. She'd lash out at everyone. Her staff and the media would have to cover up her medical issues and drunkenness. Every position she'd take would be 100% poll-driven, even if it was a 180-degree turn from what she said previously. And, of course, she'd lose. It would be so much fun.
Odd as it seems. Hillary is far too conservative for the current Democrat voter base. She might tease at running to grift up some funds.
She will be 81 years old on election day 2028. That’s 567 in human years.
Re: Vance or Rubio, Rubio’s doing such an outstanding job, I’d hate to lose him as SOS. What a talent he’s proven to be! And I get the feeling he loves his job.
