NEW YORK (AP) — In a new lawsuit, one of the first three women to officiate an NFL game describes her three years at the pinnacle of her profession as a descent into the grip of a sexist institution unable to treat a woman as an equal.
Robin DeLorenzo cited gender-based scrutiny, humiliation and open hostility among the indignities she suffered from 2022 to 2025 as a league official.
The lawsuit in Manhattan federal court, filed Friday, sought reinstatement along with unspecified damages.

So she thinks she’s supposed to have immunity from any sort of discipline up to and including termination just because she’s a female?
The nfl deserves what it gets for going woke.
Maybe, as part of a settlement, the NFL will interchange “Stop Racism” with “Stop Sexism” in the end zones (if the former signage is active).
Her vision must be faulty as she couldn’t make a correct call most of the time.
She was fired when she stopped to ask for directions, “Which way to the first down?”.
Just like all the sideline-babes and the sports desk “experts” just another reason I quit watching years ago.
She was fired when the NFL asked if she could be featured in a trailer and she responded with, “I always ask my husband to pull trailers”.
She would be happier if she learned to knit.

My friends you all know the ultimate motive was to get someone like her to wear the white hat and be seen the whole game. Unfortunately none were good enough to be anywhere except on the sidelines away from the camera. You can be sure if they ever get good enough the first one will be an early 40-something blonde-long hair for emphasis.
No Jackie Robinsons in this league.
It would be revealing to look at the number of bad calls she made compared to the other refs on the field. If the bad calls were much greater she needed to go.

Women who sue tend to find their faults brought into court. She will, as usually with women, claim, “So, what??”, and then make ridiculous claims such as there is no written standard, even though there is, or that she was improperly trained, even though she was and supposedly certified.
