-- The Jews wanted a physical warrior king to defeat Caesar. But Jesus made clear that he is NOT a political king with a mere earthly agenda. He has a spiritual agenda fulfilled by the salvation of souls from every people, tongue, and nation.
Jesus said: Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you, do good to those who hate you...
