How to Obtain A Voter ID

Why would an American citizen with enough intellect to obtain an I.D. to vote see merit in assisting American citizens without enough intellect to obtain an I.D.?
That is my question. Who favors and who disfavors Voter ID?
TOPICS: Conspiracy; Miscellaneous; Society
KEYWORDS: id; obtain; voter

Anyone without capability to get a valid ID has failed the IQ test to be allowed to vote.

My understanding (always a dubious proposition) is that it has been proposed that if a prospective voter is unable to obtain a valid ID, he (or she) would have the option to sign an affidavit in person at the polling place that affirms that they are indeed citizens and elligible to vote at that particular voting precinct. This gives the prospective voter one last chance if they prove unable to obtain a proper ID. It also definitely makes the voter fully responsible if they are engaging in fraud. What objections could anyone have to that?

The only problem is that you have just opened the door for more people to engage in more fraud.

...who disfavors Voter ID?...
Politicans who need to cheat to gain office

I’ve always felt the same about “get out the vote” campaigns.
If someone isn’t interested or motivated enough on their own to get their ass to the polls I’d rather they not be involved in the election.

It has been the law in Indiana for a long time (I think 2005). We heard all the complaints back then. None turned out to be true. Supreme Court ruled it ok in 2008.
So it is not like there is not case law and real life examples of it in action.

I wish Fedzilla would just issue every American citizen an American passport.
Make those the gold standard for ID.

I am not sure about other states, but here in Texas you have to REGISTER to vote in order to vote.
You do that MONTHS in advance and *that* is when you have to show proof of citizenship.
You do not have to carry Proof of Citizenship to the polls, but the Dims are making it sound that way.

There is literally NO ONE who can’t get an ID. This is some of the most stupid, idiotic, Deep-state Uniparty BS I have ever heard.

What’s a voter ID?
I have a driver’s license with a photo on it. I’ve had passports and it has a photo, but the last one expired. I have a USGOV issued ID that has a photo.
But I’ve never heard of a “voter ID”
Can someone tell me what it is and what it looks like?

No the person who signed a provisional ballot still has to prove they are legal to vote by “curing” their ballot by going to the voter registrars office in their county

Really? So Motor Voter isn’t the law in Texas? Do you have to prove you’re an American citizen to obtain a driver’s license?

If you can’t get valid ID you don’t need to vote.
