The paranoid reason why Tiger Woods won’t hire a driver despite history of car crashes

Car crash-prone Tiger Woods won’t hire a driver to cart him around because he’s too private — and doesn’t want anyone knowing his whereabouts.

The 50-year-old golf legend opts to drive himself everywhere because he doesn’t want employees to “watch over him or know what he is doing,” a source told People.

“And he thinks he is fine to drive,” the source added.

Woods — who is worth $1.5 billion, according to Forbes — was arrested on suspicion of DUI following another rollover car crash in Jupiter Island, Fla., last Friday.

Woods, who was forced to crawl out of his overturned SUV from the passenger door, was charged with driving under the influence with property damage and refusing a lawful test.

The latest incident is the fourth time Woods has been involved in a car crash.

I'm no expert but that sure sounds like someone with an addiction of some kind.

It actually reminds me of Elvis a little.

Everybody but him knew he was heading for disaster but he refused to listen to anyone as they all helplessly looked on at the self-destruction.

IOW, he is his own worst enemy.

Uber and Lyft are easy to use and go everywhere. Tiger Woods needs some help.

Woods — who is worth $1.5 billion, according to Forbes

Really? How is that even possible?

He likes the women and probably has several concubines in waiting and always on the prowl to boot. Plus, the whole drinking thing.

It would be easy enough to find a close mouthed non-celebrity loner type guy from ex military or security work whose personal preference is low key and who communicates in grunts and one word responses and would love a high paid job of being a simple faceless driver.

and doesn’t want anyone knowing his whereabouts.

Dude needs to keep up with technology. Automated licence plate reading cameras mounted to the back of signs (or just mounted in plain view), facial recognition software. Privacy is an outdated 20th century concept in modern America's police state.

Yes, he has all the hallmarks of a self-destructive addict.

But he could hire a very private and discrete full-time chauffeur.

Sports star get promotional deals for millions. Michael Jorden showed the way with taking a percentage instead of a flat fee.

Tiger got a percentage of sales from Nike Golf for 27 years.

That alone would be a lot of money.

One of his colleagues said on a YouTube video the other day that he’s too cheap to pay a driver.

“Privacy is an outdated 20th century concept in modern America’s police state”

And which is entirely incompatible with the nation state that the Revolutionaries fought for.

“So George, let’s shoot our British overseers so we can establish a hyper surveillance state operated by a self selecting class of malignant narcissists”

“Capital idea, Thomas! Grab your squirrel gun now and we shall attack the officers first!”

When you’re having wrecks right and left and the po-po show up you’re going to get a lot more negative attention than having a discreet driver on call.
