An 18-year-old contestant at the Miss Grand Thailand 2026 preliminaries has gone viral for a horrible reason, after her veneers dislodged during her on-stage introduction. The contestant handled the awkward moment with remarkable poise.
The preliminary round of the pageant took place earlier this week in Bangkok.
Kamolwan Chanago, representing Pathum Thani province, was introducing herself to judges and the live audience when her upper veneers began to slip, noticeably affecting her speech.
Video of the moment shows Chanago briefly stopping, turning her back to the camera and audience to fix her false teeth, then continuing her intro.
Her response to the situation earned Chanago a round of applause from the audience.
