Watford City, N.D. — The remains of over thirty deer, 3 bull elk and even a moose with antlers were found by law enforcement at the residence of a Watford City man who is now under arrest and currently being held at the Southwest Multi-County Correction Center (SWMCCC).
The residence of Tadan Defoe, 19, and Tyler Defoe, 34, was initially being searched by law enforcement with a warrant on Dec. 6, 2024. Law enforcement then notified the local game warden that they had found an untagged elk head and an untagged moose head, according to a statement from the warden.

And in Maryland, they are hiring “sharpshooters” to cull some of the deer in local parks. I enjoy driving by and seeing deer grazing in the local meadows. I hate to envision them facing blam blam blam.
Mrs Maw relatively recently shot a deer with my Jeep. A very expensive deer but it was pretty good. Im not giving her a hard time, nearly everyone out here has gotten one. Im not sure the whistles work. Ive seen articles stating they dont. I do know that I used to drive at night a lot and hit a bunch of deer down in that swamp. Each time I had \m/ metal \m/ blaring out the windows but it almost seemed to draw them to the road as though they liked it.
I’ve been pretty lucky with the deer horns they sell on amzn. They supposedly have a warbling tone and a hi and low frequency. Been using them for 7 years after a doe took out my ‘09 Corolla which had a small, single frequency horn. They come in 2x pairs and I install one from each pair per car.
I don’t see stunned or tranced dear. Just “huh?”. They usually stare at my car as I pass.
