The joke about "military intelligence" being an oxymoron is itself an ignorant remark because most of the sheeple do not understand that no intelligence agency can explain its failures (or gloat about its successes) without giving away the keys to the store.

Every intelligence agency's most closely guarded secrets are its knowledge, skills, and abilities. To comment with any specificity about the things it knows or how it came to know them could be used to indirectly determine its KSAs, which would compromise its future effectiveness.

This is why the symbol of the US Army Military Intelligence Corps long has been the sphinx. Because in all cases, an intelligence service must stand silent.

To present evidence in a public forum of how the US knew to a certainty this boat was transporting dangerous narcotics would be providing the drug runners with the information they'd need to determine how to prevent the discovery of the next run.
