A federal judge in Nevada dismissed a lawsuit by a group of nuns that claimed Smith & Wesson violated its fiduciary duty to shareholders by making and selling AR-15s.
On May 7, 2024, Breitbart News reported a similar dismissal in Nevada’s Clark County District Court, after plaintiffs including the Adrian Dominican Sisters, Sisters of Bon Secours USA, Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, and Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus & Mary, filed suit. They filed a suit claiming that the defendants, who are Smith & Wesson board members and the company’s senior management team, “knowingly allowed the Company to become exposed to significant liability for intentionally violating federal, state, and local laws through its manufacturing, marketing, and sales of AR-15 style rifles and similar semiautomatic firearms.”
Their suit was dismissed.
Now it is 2026 ,and another lawsuit, and it was dismissed again.

Ouch
They usually go after Lockheed Martin every year.
The faux-plaintiffs are serial leftist agitators in robes (one might say ‘CINOs’) on any subject the DNC directs them at.
I’ve built 5 AR’s, one a 6.5 Grendel and one that will ejects brass on what ever side (right or left) that you set it up for. I’m not Smith nor Wesson but I own several of their hand guns. I have yet to see any of them or my other machines do anything on their own. Guns don’t kill people. People kill people. Sometimes they use a gun. IMO
Was the company selling AR-15s when the stock was bought? Was there any secrecy to that manufacturing and sales? IfbO wee the judge it would be Case dismissed with full expenses paid by the loser for filing such a stupid suit.
Looked them up. All habit-less, elderly social justice warriors in dying orders of nuns.
Meanwhile, young women all over the world are flocking to the more traditional orders of sisters that live lives of prayer and holiness.
It looks like the stray cat in my yard tried to post a message for me.
Except, of course, they didn't.
Those nutty Nuns must have been flying to have done that.
Have him check out spellcheck, if he really wants to screw up a post. 🤪
The Plaintiffs should drop this habit and accept the law as is.
Get thee to a nunnery gunnery.
Dingbat leftists, including some religiously motivated dingbat leftists of various denominations, have learned that if you buy a few shares of MegaCorp you have standing to:
1) Submit shareholder proposals to the annual meeting
2) Vote your shares at the annual meeting
3) Sue the board for fiduciary irresponsibility
It rarely works as effectively as the dingbats expect.
“Good, the courts were having nun of that!“
They just filed it out of habit. What a cloister! The sisters are even more against canons, as it turns out.
Your short hand acronym has the same number of letters as what it means?
Or was that Greek/Latin?
What a Foister Cluk!
