WASHINGTON — Delta Air Lines is punishing Congress for failing to fund the Department of Homeland Security.
The airline company has temporarily yanked its special congressional desk service to lawmakers and staffers on Capitol Hill until Congress finally funds the DHS, which has been in a partial shutdown since Feb. 28.
“Due to the impact on resources from the longstanding government shutdown, Delta will temporarily suspend specialty services to members of Congress flying Delta,” the company said in a statement first reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Put all of members of Congress and the Senate on a “Do Not Fly” list.
Senators should be put on the no fly list.
The fact that they got kept from certain services during the shutdown sounds like perfect justice to me. The next time this happens (and it likely will) maybe they can stick it to certain congressmen again. And I think it would be most effective if it is “selective”. That should teach somebody a very direct lesson.

I did that to Al Gore Sr. He “demanded” a room in the hotel when we were full. Eventually we gave them a standard room that canceled. They argued about the rate. Even pulled the “do you know who I am” ceap and didn’t want to give us a credit card. I told him Jesus couldn’t check in without a credit card.
Then they took everything in the mini bar and wouldn’t pay.
I finally referred them to Dunn & Bradley. They were livid. Especially the wife.
