STEVE BANNON: Ken Paxton, now two polls in Texas. Ken Paxton's up 16 against Cornyn and one 18 against Cornyn the other. As I predicted that there's just no way the more Cornyn puts out this money for these negative ads trying to destroy Ken Paxton. The more the grassroots base, the MAGA base turns against him.

Cornyn’s past elections were mere formalities. His problem today is that Texas voters have finally figured out he is a RINO SNAKE in the grass. Politically today, he is dead meat.
I think Cornyn would be more likely to lose. Regardless i think either republican candidate would win.
While I’m not a big fan of Cornyn, these polls are not believable. In the primary, Cornyn beat Paxton in Paxton’s home base. Much of the Christian right has abandoned Paxton, including influential pastors like Jack Graham. Too bad Paxton didn’t have the self discipline to keep his zipper zipped.
I'm sure this is helping to drive up the Paxton vote in Texas.
I also think Cornyn's "The Ten Commandments" ad featuring the voice of God saying "Thou shalt not steal..." and so on isn't working, either.

I hope that Paxton runs no matter who Trump endorses. For that matter, I hope Trump doesn’t endorse ANYONE and let them two duke it out on their own.

He’s one of the bad guys. He’s been playing games for a long time in DC and getting away with it. I’m glad Texas voters have got wise to it.
