That last week was like watching a World Series Game 7 in every game during the quarter, semi, and championship. Lots of great baseball.
Apparently some of their players weren't actually Italian citizens, but rather of Italian descent. Kinda like Giuseppe Paolo DiMaggio
WBC is great baseball, being single elimination it is kind of like march madness in that Cinderella teams full of AAA level talent often make a run. USA probably had more talent than any other team the last two cycles and still lost in finals both times.
Why? The mafia invented bats for bustin' heads before America used them for hitting little balls:)
