I tried to memorize the value of pi out to 12 decimal places when I was younger. I wanted to be world-famous. And I was sure that would impress the ladies.
Then I found out that the current record holder had memorized the value out to 10,000 places (it’s much more now). So I gave up, and decided to find a good job instead.

Spock became quite the attraction among the ladies. Was it his logic? I don't think so. He became a hot item after he was in an episode where he fought his own captain to the death over a lady. Fighting for a female is all the rage in the animal world and people are not immune to that instinct.
