They surly do overwork the f-word. It comes at the expense of not being able to describe anything accurately and in detail. It is the mark of the illiterate.
I hear podcasts where it seems like it’s every other word. It’s so boring, I turn them off almost as soon as I’ve opened them.
I guess they don’t know many real words.
I'm no prude. I can cuss with the worst of them--and have. But the constant, tiresome, brainless use of the word f-ck is as irritating as the worst of clichés, which is exactly what it is. It reveals much more about the person who spews it out that he/she/it realizes--and it's all very unflattering.
The man I described, who is worthless, jobless, and covered with tattoos and who uses "the f-word a lot" is short in stature, in intellect, and in every other measure and thinks the tattoos, body piercings, and endless use of "the f-word" make him look like a big, important man. I does the opposite.
