Eileen Gu, the American-born Olympic skier who chose to represent Team China at the Winter Games, was honored at Chinese New Year celebrations in San Francisco on Saturday.
Gu was the grand marshal for the parade and expressed in an interview before the festivities what the honor meant to her.
"This is a special thing to be Grand Marshal, and be part of it," she told KGO-TV.

Disgusting! I am not sure if she is a dual citizen or not, but it is time to end the entire concept of dual citizenship. No one can be allegiant to more than one country.

So China officially doesn’t allow dual citizenship... but she’d have to be Chinese citizen in order to compete for their Olympic team (that’s an Olympic rule), so logically she must not be a U.S. citizen. However the Chicoms are known for enforcing or not enforcing their rules as it suits them, so my guess would be that she hasn’t actually renounced her U.S. citizenship with the ChiComs quietly choosing to look the other way when it comes to her US citizenship
It’s funny. I used to drive down Geary street and I’d see protesters carrying their signs in front of the Chinese Consulate. If they’re so unpopular why would the SF higher ups want the halfy over there real one?
