Eileen Gu, the American-born Olympic skier who chose to represent Team China at the Winter Games, was honored at Chinese New Year celebrations in San Francisco on Saturday.
Gu was the grand marshal for the parade and expressed in an interview before the festivities what the honor meant to her.
"This is a special thing to be Grand Marshal, and be part of it," she told KGO-TV.

Eileen serves Gu works too.
Disgusting! I am not sure if she is a dual citizen or not, but it is time to end the entire concept of dual citizenship. No one can be allegiant to more than one country.
She can celebrate in Beijing instead.
Come on Eileen...

Hard to think of San Francisco as an American city.
Could they not have asked California born and Oakland raised Alysa Liu, who won a gold medal representing the United States?
"This is a special thing to be Grand Marshal, and be part of it," she told KGO-TV.
For a Chinese New Year parade. Riight, okay well
real made in America takes "Grand Marshal" to a whole other level.

Dexy’s Midnight Runners. Great song on the ‘80s!
RE: Hard to think of San Francisco as an American city.
“Grant Avenue” song in movie
Flower Drum Song
Grant Avenue, San Francisco,
California, U.S.A.
Looks down from Chinatown
Over a foggy bay.
You travel there in a trolley,
In a trolley up you climbâ
Dong dong! Youâre in Hong Kong,
Having yourself a time.
You can eat, if you are in the mood,
Shark-fin soup, bean-cake fish.
The girl who serves you all your food
Is another tasty dish!
You know you
Canât have a new way of living
Till youâre living all the way
On Grant Avenue.
Linda:
Where is that?
Liang:
San Francisco,
Thatâs whereâs that!
California, U.S.A.
” I am not sure if she is a dual citizen or not, “
So China officially doesn’t allow dual citizenship... but she’d have to be Chinese citizen in order to compete for their Olympic team (that’s an Olympic rule), so logically she must not be a U.S. citizen. However the Chicoms are known for enforcing or not enforcing their rules as it suits them, so my guess would be that she hasn’t actually renounced her U.S. citizenship with the ChiComs quietly choosing to look the other way when it comes to her US citizenship
It’s funny. I used to drive down Geary street and I’d see protesters carrying their signs in front of the Chinese Consulate. If they’re so unpopular why would the SF higher ups want the halfy over there real one?
Gu is a handful.
Patton (1970) opening speech.
“When you put your hand into a bunch of goo that a moment before was your best friend’s face, you’ll know what to do”
Spit.
I thought that back in the 1990s.
With the rest of her chicom comrades.
She should NOT be a dual citizen. Sheâs an anchor baby at best. Send her back to her familyâs homeland. The place she loves and that pays her $millions for her allegiance. Sheâs NOT an American!
Disgusting, but typical of the commies who run our cities these days.

Once upon a time SF was a VERY American city.
