Two weeks after announcing the launch of his "Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour," Bruce Springsteen is catching some heat as fans are left outraged over astronomical ticket prices.
"If this concert is meant to be a political statement, dynamic pricing makes no sense... It feels contradictory to defend democracy while playing by pure free-market rules where money decides everything," one fan wrote on Springteen's Instagram post. "Big fan and I’m in for a reasonable price, but I can’t help thinking about those who can’t play this game."
"Unfortunately no one can afford to actually go.....," another wrote.
"It’s so sad for anyone that’s a huge fan of yours and wants so very badly to see you in concert @springsteen but just can’t afford these ticket prices ! Especially now when the economy is so bad," another added. "I thought that you if anyone would really understand what I’m saying because you yourself talk about making this world more affordable to live in."
"$1000 for upper seats," a longtime fan commented. "Really he was the one fighting this and now you cannot get tickets at a decent price. I’ve always had floor seats (26 concerts of his) and now floor seats are $7k. I don’t think I’m using a mortgage payment on seats."
Representatives for Springsteen did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Vivid is a secondary/scalper market...no idea what the original face value of the tix were...
I assume with dynamic pricing it was the $7000 figure for floor seats
I never got the whole Springsteen thing. He was OK but not any big deal or super talent and his music was not that great
Just looked on ticketmaster- Floor seats are between $1700/$2200 a piece FV...still no bargain...
There are a LOT of good seats available but i detested springsteen long before i knew his politics....
He’s a real man of the comrades!
Greedy so and so!
I saw him once in 1992 but I never lined up for the tix. I just checked my stub for the show. It was $36.50. It was a great show but never again like you say. He wasn’t preaching politics between songs that I recall back then but never never again. The few times I’ve seen artists do that it ruined the vibe of the show.
“Meet The New Boss,,,
Same as The Old Boss!”

The Who
7k is three mortgage payments for me!
He was media made- plain and simple...
When the rock media was killing Led Zeppelin in the 70’s, they were on their knees for Springsteen...this was my introduction to bias in the media...
The rock media, led by Rolling Stone, could not get enough of the guy, despite how awful and boring his music was...
When i told people in the early 80’s how much i hated springsteen the response was always the same, “Have you seen him in concert???!!!”
So i went to see him in 1985; it was actually a girlfriend who took me to see him- the Born in the USA tour at old Giants Stadium...
We had really good seats and he came out and after the first three songs i said, “Hey- i may like this after all!!”
Then i realized why i can’t stand his music...the fourth song sounded exactly like the fifth song which sounded exactly like the sixth song which sound exactly like the seventh song and on and on...
Then there was the lecturing....then there was a 25 minute version of “Twist and Shout” by the Beatles...then there were moronic dancing bears on stage....
I left the concert hating his music then before i entered the stadium!!!
I wouldn’t pay $10 to go to any concert....
$7,000 for a guy who can’t sing? Scotty, beam me up!!!
He was just an average guy from Jersey, man. Playing his tunes for the common man. I still cringe when I hear his wailing.
> $1000 for upper seats <
Yes, I would consider that. Meaning, I’d fill I seat at the concert if Springsteen payed me $1000. I’d bring noise-canceling headphones and book of crossword puzzles.
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I'm ten years burnin' down the road
Nowhere to run, ain't got nowhere to go
Well, you sure as Hell won't be going to a Bruce Springsteen concert with those ticket prices.
Hey, Bruce has to pay for that Colts Neck estate somehow.
I wouldn’t pay 10 cents.
Iran will probably bomb it anyway.
The crazy mullahd are bombing everyone.
“working man” who calls himself The Boss. Go figure.
The way things are going for him lately, you may have to be ready to catch him when he falls.
I would go if they paid me $7000, but probably not for $1000.
