In the past I saw 7 suburban precincts flipped back and forth depending on the candidates and not the party. From 60% D to 80% R to 87% D to 90% R.

We write off Dem voters and lose when they are really independent voters. When the Dem activists assume Independent voters are Dem when they are really Independent, the Dems win.
