Forget "Star Wars Night." Forget bobblehead giveaways. Forget throwback jerseys and $1 hot dog promos. The Atlanta Hawks have decided that if you're going to do a theme night, you might as well fully embrace your city's lore.
On March 16, the Hawks will host "Magic City Monday," a one-night collaboration honoring Magic City — which the team's official press release delicately describes as Atlanta's "iconic cultural institution."
The rest of us call it a strip club. Because that's what it is.
This isn't a halfhearted gimmick, either. The Hawks are going all in, bringing in rapper T.I. for a halftime performance, DJ Esco will handle music, there will be a live recording of the Hawks AF Podcast, and the team is dropping a limited-edition co-branded hoodie. Strip club night MERCH!

You have schools dropping marching (FB) and pep (BB) bands that were coed (boys and girls) in favour of all-girl dance teams that build the activities counter +20 for girls instead of +5 (pep) or +40 (marching) bands for boys, which is part of the modern bean counters.
And the high school dance teams breed recruits for college dance teams, and those dance team recruits are often wanted for pro dance teams. That’s the whole point of turning sport into a brothel where women wearing next to nothing is the standard.
Of course.
Now in high schools, being on the dance team is more valuable than being the captain of the cheer team.
There’s a reason why I stopped watching NFL football. 🤔
Magic City is one of the most famous strip clubs in the world. And for decades has been a go to place for celebrities, especially members of teams visiting Atlanta. Yeah, it’s in poor taste, but it’s Magic City.
