I’ll be watching this development with great interest. Once Mamdani offers $300 an hour, off to the Big Apple I go.
I will not be providing any ID, of course. And I want to be paid in cash. A worker has the right to demand that, eh Zohran?
I wonder if those who shoveled for $19 per hour will get back pay.
Will a blood sample and SSN # be required?
I sure got ripped off as a child shoveling neighbors driveway.
Okay. Go ahead. FReepsplain to me how I shouldn't trust my lying eyes
They do that all time here in Minnepaolistan.
It will snow tonight. We could get from a half inch to 30 feet. It could be the end of the world.
What happened to city services removing the snow? They used to be able to do it and, at one point, were one of the best in the country at doing it quickly and efficiently.
The whole crew at my apartment complex quit all snow work...strictly maintenance or nothing. lol
I don’t think he got any takers.
I shoveled snow only once and got a $20 tip, I’ve always wondered if I did such an exceptional job or if she was just generous.
Inflation, doncha know.
It’s almost as if it’s..........Winter!
Wait till he finds out how corvee labor works.
Heart-attack insurance will be provided to those over 65.
did they reduce the number of ID’s needed, too?
Jack up
Property taxes then ask them to shovel snow.
Good luck with that plan.
The commie was born in warm-ish Uganda. Has Madmani even seen snow before?
Not defending the panic, but I can send you photos from Staten Island, about 30” and deep drifts. Heart attack snow very wet and definitely 30 mph steady winds with gusts to who knows what. Roads were all but impassable until about 11:00 this morning. I spent 5+ hours (with snow blower and shovel) clearing my cars driveway, sidewalk, and side of house today, so I believe your full of it.
Just going by what Faux News and The Commie News Network and SnoozeNation were showing me. How far away is Staten Island from downtown NYC?
