SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) — The Summerville Police Department has arrested a woman who allegedly encouraged high school students to protest in a planned high school walkout.
Dinah Chollet, 44, is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the arrest warrant.
An anonymous student alerted a school resource officer at Summerville High School of a planned protest called the “Summerville Walkout” that was going to occur on Friday afternoon. The incident report stated that the protest was publicized on Instagram and was an open account to the public.
When the officer joined the group anonymously, he noticed it had approximately 80 members at the time. The group, organized by Summerville High School students, planned an anti-ICE protest that would disrupt the school day. The officer was later able to positively identify several students based on their Instagram accounts.
The protest organizer made anti-police remarks and stated they hated police, but demanded the protest remain peaceful. Several members in the chat displayed aggressive behavior.
One member engaged with a participant who held opposing views to the group’s purpose and made threatening statements about President Trump, including wishing harm upon him and calling for his death.
The officer contacted FBI Task Force Officer Mizell to report the threats against President Trump and notified their Lieutenant of the weapons threats and statements made against the President.
Chollet allegedly appeared in the chat under the Instagram handle “theknotburgerpub” and identified herself as “Dinah Yo.” Officers later learned she is a business owner of The Knot Burger Pub. She allegedly communicated with other students to influence and express approval of their protest, and added that she was proud of what they were doing.
When asked if the restaurant was protesting with them, she responded with, “Oh, there’s a group of us that will be out there with you.”
She then asked to be added to the group chat so she could use her personal Facebook account rather than her business account. When she used the business account, she would get alerts such as, “Let’s talk about how to make this the BEST,” according to the incident report. She shared comments from her personal account in the group chat, influencing the students to make threats of vandalism and violence against a specific person.
Chollet also shared screenshots of her account, but the police did not provide the context of the screenshots.
Additional charges
Two underage youths were charged with student threats and one was charged with unlawful communication. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and a member of the U.S. Secret Service were later notified about the threats to Trump, but are not investigating the incident. The men who allegedly made threats against the youths to throw urine-packed balloons if they protested were not charged. Chollet was the only adult arrested in connection with the incident.

A real cutie....
Needs more forehead.
She has a five-head.
They need to come down hard on her, I would be furious to have another adult interfering with my child’s education and undermining my parental authority.
I hope the parents in the area make this well-known and her business goes under fast.
South Carolina is not California or Minnesota. Well done cops in SC!
As an Idahoan, I approve of the Tater Tots. I’ve driven past the Ore-Ida facility in Ontario (Oregon) a number of times.
Send her to jail where she belongs.
Wormwood for sure.
I’m with you on this one.
High School principals do this same thing and should be similarly charged with contributing to the delinquency of their own minor students.
I buy them by the bag.
I’d rather have tater tots than freedom fries.
You could land a CH-47 on that thing.
^5 for use of that term, LOL!
What’s wrong with tater tots and a burger?
They were featured in “Napoleon Dynamite.”
A bar owner encourages the students and gets arrested but the teachers din doo nuthin. 🥴
Looks like the bored of edamucation has found their patsy.
Bar for sale, cheap.
