The Hidden VictoryThe MOST IMPORTANT takeaway - for me - from today’s SCOTUS decision on the Trump Tariffs has nothing to do with trade - it’s about precedent.
During oral argument - Justice Gorsuch asked the administration’s lawyer an extremely important question.
He cornered the administration and simply asked: If the Court upholds these tariffs, can a future President unilaterally declare a “CLIMATE EMERGENCY” to bypass Congress and impose their own agenda?
The administration’s lawyer was forced to reluctantly agree and say, “yes.”
