My cousin lives about a block from there. I went to look at it one time when I was visiting. The new owner tore down the garage because he was tired of the stoners leaving crap at the site to “honor” him.
I have to disagree. At the time they were pretty great imho. Back in the 90s , early 2000s I saw PJ around 10 times. Mike McCreedy is a top tier guitar player. Nirvana was just different- simplistic but creative. Never saw them unfortunately.

He died of a self-inflicted 12ga shotgun wound to the face. Not a drug overdose.

Yep! Cobain was going to divorce her nasty azz. She knew she was going to get his catalog if he died, so she offed him and made it look like a suicide. The cops didn’t even bother to look at it any other way because he’s a drug using rock star...
I doubt very seriously there is any legally admissible evidence of homicide in Kurt Cobain’s death. But whether the Seattle police recorded the death as a suicide at the scene or a few days later it does seem the outcome was decided before conducting a full investigation.

He was severely depressed and people around him were aware he might try again. If memory serves, he bought the shotgun at Kmart a day or two before he did it.
