I suspect the "A.I." works like the "A.I." powered Amazon store--the "magic" behind the "A.I." was cheap labor featuring actual humans.

People have been trying to expose this by getting the AI to do tedious stunts. For example, to count "1, 2, 3..." up to high numbers and the AI "seems" to get annoyed, like a real person.

There are people doing the job in AI. And they are the ones who craft what they claim is “AI” but is really people doing it. When kids use AI to make things, they’re cheating because there’s a human writing their paper.
