BRASÍLIA (9 February 2026) — A Brazilian woman, Isadora Borges, is facing criminal prosecution after posting comments on social media expressing her views on gender ideology, exposing her to a possible prison sentence of four to ten years.
In November 2020, Isadora Borges made two posts on X (then Twitter), peacefully expressing her views against gender ideology. One comment stated that “transgender” women “were obviously born male.” Another stated: “A person who identifies as transgender retains their birth DNA. No surgery, synthetic hormone, or clothing change will change this fact…”
Her comments quickly gained attention online, and prompted Erika Hilton, a self-described “transgender” politician, to report Borges for “transphobia” to the federal police.
In September 2025, Borges was notified of the criminal charges brought against her. She was accused of two counts of transphobia, with each count carrying a punishment of 2-5 years in prison. The case is now moving to trial, with a hearing date set for tomorrow, February 10.
“No one should face a decade behind bars for expressing an opinion on a matter of public concern,” said Julio Pohl, Legal Counsel for ADF International, which is providing legal support to Borges. “Weaponising Brazil’s expansive ‘transphobia’ laws to punish peaceful expression is a profound violation of freedom of speech.”

This is what gets you arrested in Brazil - stating facts.
2-5 years per offense of “Transphobia”. Imagine what this actual peaceful protester would get if she assaulted a Brazilian Federal officer. That’s what’s coming here if more commies get elected.

For years I was warning folks that the speech codes in Western Europe on one topic (that still shall not be mentioned) would spread around the world and cover many other topics.
Once free speech is no longer a shared value everybody is at risk.
Meanwhile, the muzzies are taking over the world in the meantime. This will not end well.
Force people to reject obvious basic truths and openly accept equally open and obvious lies under threat of serious oppression is a powerful tool for demoralizing people and breaking them down. It was an integral part of the “brain washing” process.

Good post—this is now used by most governments around the world in some form.
The words or topics may differ from region to region—but the concept is the same.
The message—”We rule and you peons drool. Deal with it.”

Where is the so call transphobia? Nothing was said that is hateful or negative about transgenders. These are just some facts about transgenders.

The US needs to sanction the UK and Brazil as hard as it sanctions Russia.

Twenty years for printing a true statement. If this is the end result, what is left to stop people from just killing them instead of speaking the truth? This is the reason kidnapping and child molestation do not carry the death penalty. The idea is the perp would have no reason to spare the victim if he knew he would get the death penalty.
