and it was far away
and it was so much better
than it is today

“Powrhouse vocalist.” Not even close to a “vocalist.”
The female Rod Stewart.
“43 years”..........ugh. Don’t remind me. lol
Great song which I’ve listened to many times, but the video in the link I’m surprised her voice is really breaking on those High notes.
Bonnie Tyler?...Bleah! That was not rock and roll, it was pop.

I don’t get how it’s a “rock” song. Always seemed poppish to me.
I thought the song was originally written with Meatloaf in mind.
Note: The theme of my daughter’s prom in 2012.
Also note: They did not play the song at the prom because they hired a hip-hop DJ
I hate that song.
“rock legend”??? Where? Croatia???
I’ve always enjoyed her work. It’s strong, the lyrics are clear, and her songs tell stories.

It is not quite “Safe for Work”, and it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I found the “literal” version of the video to be well done and hilarious.

You nailed it. Perfect comparison.
That post makes me feel old
Time flies
I liked that
“What kind of private school would let in these kinds of guys?
It started out as Hogwarts, now it’s ‘Lord of the Flies’.”
